                              President and CEO                                  

Buena Vista Business Services is headed by Ray Solnik.  Ray often joins tech companies on an interim executive basis to drive growth initiatives.  He also consults to technology and service companies on strategy, new business initiatives, start ups, marketing, sales, product development, and business development.

Ray has run various businesses including early stage, midsized private, and divisions of a public Fortune 100 company. He brings with him a unique combination of skills in strategy and execution as well as marketing, business development, and finance.

Interim executive engagements have included U.S. GM for a high tech company based in Tokyo, "Business Guy" for an early stage tech startup, and Program Lead for Xerox PARC's CCN initiative.

Ray was President and COO of OpSource where he grew revenues 200%, tripled customer count, and doubled margins during his tenure. OpSource is a private venture capital backed company in the software as a service (SaaS) and web applications businesses.

Prior to OpSource, Ray was Chief Development Officer of New Edge Networks until the successful sale of that company to EarthLink. Ray was president of AT&T’s consumer Internet company, AT&T WorldNet, where he had full profit and loss responsibility. He also held business development executive positions at NorthPoint Communications and SBC Internet services, now part of AT&T. Ray has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ray also has franchise business interests as the owner of a Great Clips haircutting franchise operation.

VP of Engineering - Former VP of engineering at Wells Fargo Bank, NorthPoint Communications, and Virgin Mobile.  Placed at Xerox PARC for a content centric networking initiative and hired by PARC upon completion of the Buena Vista engagement.

Senior Financial Analyst - Former VP of business consulting at venture backed software as a service (SaaS) company and Columbia MBA.  Supported business case analytics for a cloud computing engagement with the CEO of the client.

Account Manager - Former member of a leading crowdsourcing company founding team.  Assigned to another crowdsourcing client to develop client accounts and increase sales closing a variety of valuable contracts.  This person was engaged on an independent basis after the Buena Vista engagement completed.

Inside Sales Account Manager
- Former sales representative for Mutual of Omaha and Stanford graduate.  Led testing of enterprise sales models and approaches for a cloud software company client. The client extended an offer to this person upon completion of the Buena Vista engagement.

Marketing Manager - Former account support manager at NorthPoint Communications and manager of survey operations at an HR consulting firm.  Led lead generation program development at an early stage client resulting in over 500 outbound leads and response rates of 15+%.
